After a decent outing against Aston Villa, it had looked like Filip Jorgensen had moved ahead of Robert Sanchez in the Chelsea pecking order. That belief was further underlined after he started against PSG in the Champions League. But it did not take long for things to go downhill. Chelsea were in the game for […]

Chelsea are set to travel to the French capital to take on Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League this week. The two teams have some past history in the competition, and have been drawn to face each other again. Chelsea have not managed to beat PSG in any of their previous four meetings in the […]

A lot of talk surrounding Chelsea has been about potential signings. But one has to remember that the club are working under financial constraints at the moment. They were handed a hefty fine by UEFA last summer and will have to spend within some pre-determined boundaries for the foreseeable future. So, if Chelsea sign players, […]

Chelsea have a lot left to play for this season. They will be looking to finish it strong and qualify for the Champions League again. Of course, that might not be easy. Manchester United and Liverpool have both found form lately as well. With Aston Villa struggling a bit in recent months, could they end […]

It is hard to predict which version of Chelsea will show up when they take on PSG in the Champions League this week. Will it be the one that defeated Aston Villa 4-1? Or will it be the one that struggled to get past Championship side Wrexham in the FA Cup at the weekend? The […]

Liam Rosenior’s appointment as manager has been good news for quite a few players. The Englishman was known for his man-management skills at his previous clubs. That has been on display at Chelsea as well. Joao Pedro is in the form of his life right now. Alejandro Garnacho seems to be growing in confidence, too. […]

For the past three seasons, Robert Sanchez has been the number one at Chelsea. He has not exactly been a consistent performer though. There have been times when the Spaniard looks great. He was one of the club’s best players for a large part of this season. But just when it looked like he was […]

If there is one area where Chelsea need to improve this summer, it is their defence. The Blues have struggled defensively throughout the season. Levi Colwill’s injury clearly has unsettled them at the back. He is the best centre-back the club have, which has become clearer in his absence. Enzo Maresca openly called for a […]

It has been quite some time since Chelsea signed established players. The club’s entire transfer policy has revolved around bringing in youngsters from around the world and hoping that they develop according to expectations, becoming world-class down the line. Unfortunately, that has not worked out often. Only the likes of Cole Palmer, Enzo Fernandez and […]

Chelsea managed to win 4-2 against Wrexham to book their place in the next round of the FA Cup. The game was a lot closer than that scoreline suggests though. In fact, there are many who might argue that the Championship side deserved to go through based on the performances put in on the night. […]
