Reports have emerged from The Daily Express this morning that Chelsea could make a move for Manchester City midfielder, Yaya Toure. The future of the Ivorian is under much speculation following another outburst from his agent, Dimitri Seluk. Seluk, claimed that there is a ‘90%’ chance that his client will leave Manchester this summer.
Various newspaper reports claim that Italy will be Toure’s most likely destination next season. Former City boss, Roberto Mancini whom now manages Inter Milan, had gone public with his interest of bringing Toure to the San Siro.
The Daily Express claim that Jose Mourinho could make a move for the midfielder. Toure has been unsettled at City this season and a move would shock the Premier League. Despite his high wage demands, which are believed to be in the region of £220,000 a week, Yaya Toure could replace John Obi Mikel and Ramires who have both been linked with moves away from Stamford Bridge.
Toure joined Manchester City from Barcelona for £24m and City are reportedly keen to recoup at least £10m of that fee. The Ivorian has endured a mix season, scoring eight Premier League goals and managing just the one assist.
Would you like to see Yaya Toure at Stamford Bridge next season?
