Chelsea striker Diego Costa is reportedly looking for an unlikely move back to Atletico Madrid this summer. According to reports in Spanish newspaper Marca, Costa does not have any problems with the club or manager Jose Mourinho.
However it is the rainy weather, language barrier and food that has left the striker feeling unsettled in England; and reportedly seeking a swift move back to the Spanish capital, despite the striker having an instant impact at Stamford Bridge this season.
The 26-year-old scored an impressive 20 goals in an injury-hit season this campaign, helping the Blues secure their first league title since 2010.
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho will almost certainly block any attempts made by Atleti boss Diego Simeone, who has reportedly already been in talks with the Chelsea man.
Whilst the report states that Costa is unhappy in England, Marca also mention how unlikely the transfer will be, especially with Blues striker and legend Didier Drogba leaving this summer.
And despite the Brazilian born Spanish striker reportedly willing to take a large wage cut, in order to push the transfer through, it looks as though he’ll be staying put this summer.
Costa completed a £27m to Stamford Bridge last summer, and is contracted to the club until 2019.
