After winning their first league title since 2010, Chelsea earned a record £99m; the largest sum ever earned from prize money, in one Barclays Premier League season.
Prize money for winning the league, facility payments and overseas TV deals earned The Blues this record sum, alongside a combination of other payments.
Despite finishing below Arsenal in the league, Manchester United earned £250,000 more this season, while Liverpool earned nearly £4m more than Tottenham despite finishing 1 place below The Blues’ rivals.
QPR, Burnley and Hull all received over £64m after being relegated to the Championship, helping the collective total received by Premier League clubs this season reach £1.6 billion.
