Slaven Bilic was announced as West Ham United’s new manager today and it seems that he is immediately targeting a Chelsea player. Loic Remy is being targeted by the new Hammers manager as he aims to get West Ham ready for their Europa League campaign, according to the Express.
France international Remy is valued at £8 million. Loic Remy scored seven goals for Chelsea last season but the majority of his appearances were off the bench. It is believed that he has become frustrated by the lack of opportunities at Stamford Bridge and would like to move on to find more regular football.
Chelsea would be willing to do business if they can get West Ham forward Enner Valencia in return. Valencia scored four goals and created four assists in his first season in the Premier League. Along with the Ecuador international, Chelsea are also reportedly interested in Aston Villa’s Christian Benteke.
