West Ham United are interested in taking Chelsea’s Mohamed Salah on loan, according to Darren Lewis of The Mirror.
Salah has failed to hit the ground running for the Blues and was loaned out to Italian side Fiorentina in January. He thrived on loan in Italy, scoring nine goals for the Serie A side.
The Egyptian international was set to hold talks today with Chelsea officials about his future. Salah has a number of offers on the table for him including a return to Italy.
Chelsea would ideally like to sell the player but West Ham are keen on a loan with an option to buy later. It remains to be seen whether Salah would entertain that offer.
Salah joined Chelsea from Swiss side Basel in January 2014 after fighting off interest from Liverpool. He did not feature as much as he would have liked and the arrival of Juan Cuadrado saw Salah go out on loan.
He is also a regular in the Egypt squad with over 30 caps.
