Fiorentina to meet Salah’s wage demands

According to Di Marzio, Serie A side Fiorentina are willing to meet Chelsea winger Mohamed Salah’s wage demands, in order to bring the Egyptian in on a permanent basis.

It’s being reported that the Italian club are keen on keeping Salah. The out-of-favour Chelsea winger impressed in the 2nd half of the season, when he joined the Florence based club on loan. The Tuscan club are making huge efforts to keep Salah for next season, and permanently. They have offered the ex-Basel man an annual salary of €2.8m net, rising by €600k.

Salah’s official agent, an Egyptian lawyer, will be the man who receives the offer from Fiorentina, and then will sit down with his client to discuss the terms.

If Salah decides the offer is for him, Fiorentina will then have to carry on their negotiations with the Egyptian’s parent club Chelsea, to purchase the player.

The ball now stands in Salah’s court, with the Italian club eagerly anticipating his decision.

Chelsea fans, would you allow Salah to depart for Florence? If so, do we bring in a replacement, or use Cuadrado? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section below!
