The agent of Chelsea’s Juan Cuadrado has stated that his client is content with staying at Chelsea, according to Oliver Todd of the Daily Mail.
The Colombian international joined Chelsea from Fiorentina in January; the move saw Mohamed Salah go the other way temporarily.
But the 27-year-old has seen his playing time become limited at Stamford Bridge as he made only four appearances in the league. He featured 17 times in the Serie A prior to his move.
This had alerted Italian clubs Juventus and Inter Milan who were monitoring the situation, willing to offer the winger a quick escape from the Premier League.
But Cuadrado’s agent Alessandro Lucci has been quoted as saying:
“Juan is fine at Chelsea for now, we’ll see about later. He’s happy, and the club is happy with him, so for now we’re comfortable.”
The former Fiorentina man will also be encouraged by Jose Mourinho’s words. The manager hoped that Cuadrado would use the Copa America tournament to recapture his form.
He made four appearances for Colombia during Copa America before they got eliminated in the quarter finals by Argentina.
