Andreas Christensen has completed a loan move to Bundesliga side, Borussia Mochengladbach. The 19 year old will spend the whole of next season and the following year in the Bundesliga, he will link up with former Chelsea player and brother of Eden, Thorgan Hazard. Christensen joined Chelsea in 2012 from Brondby and made his Premier League debut in the Blues’ a 3-1 win against Sunderland in the final game of the season.
The German side announced the deal via Twitter.

Christensen is held in high regard at Chelsea and believed to be one for the future. He was part of the U19’s team that won the UEFA Youth League after defeating Roma in the final.
Christensen has featured for Chelsea in both the FA Cup and the League Cup this season. Featuring in both midfield and defence for the Blues. The loan move will be a real test for him at a high level in the Bundesliga. Should the move be a successful one, Christensen would surely force his way into Mourinho’s first team plans.
