Nigerian international Victor Moses could be set for a move to club rivals Tottenham Hotspur after John Cross of The Mirror reported that the North London side have tabled a bid of £8m for the 24-year-old.
Moses has been at Chelsea since 2012 but has failed to make an impression, having been loaned out to both Liverpool and Stoke City, and it appears that his future at Stamford Bridge is all but over.
With a number of clubs interested in Andros Townsend, who is looking for more game time than he is currently getting at Spurs, it appears that Moses has emerged as the club’s number one target and could be on his way to White Hart Lane in the coming weeks.
Jose Mourinho is reportedly interested in bringing Barcelona winger Pedro to West London, meaning Moses could be allowed to leave the club, with the Nigerian unlikely to get a look in next season.
The former Wigan Athletic winger has made only 43 appearances for the Blues in his three years at the club, scoring 10 goals.
