The Nigerian international is expected to arrive in Istanbul shortly to complete a move to Kasimpasa according to African Football.
After spending last season on loan at Championship side Middlesbrough, the defender is expected to complete a season long loan to the Turkish Super League. Kasimpasa finished 13th in the Turkish Super League last season. The 21 year old’s future at Chelsea is looking bleak, despite signing a new 3 year contract back in 2014. This move could present him with the chance to impress, hoping to land a permanent move somewhere.
African Football quote: “Omeruo is due in Istanbul any moment from now. He will have a look around the club and discuss personal terms,”
The Turkish side side have reportedly beaten Lille, Granada and Scottish side, Celtic to his signature. Omeruo joined Chelsea back in 2012, however he has never made a first team appearance. Omeruo’s previous loan spells include a season with Dutch side ADO Den Haag.
