Chelsea duo Lucas Piazon and Nathaniel Chalobah are reportedly close to joining Championship, Reading on loan for the season.
According to Paul Carey, of the Reading Chronicle, Chalobah is set to re-join the Royals after spending the back end of last season there on loan. The midfielder helped Reading reach the semi-final of the FA Cup under former Chelsea assistant, Steve Clarke.

Many Chelsea fans would have been hoping to see Chalobah feature at stages for Chelsea this season. The young midfielder is held in high regard by the club and fans alike.

Another surprise to the deal is the addition of Lucas Piazon. The Brazilian has failed to live up to expectation at Chelsea and has been forced out on several loans, including Malaga and Vitesse.
I'm also told that a loan deal to bring Lucas Piazon to the club from Chelsea u21s is close, though there's still a bit to do. #readingfc

Piazon spent last season on loan at Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga. Should the 21-year old join the Championship side, it would have to be seen as something of a coup for Steve Clarke.
The good relationship with himself and his former say will clearly pay dividence for his promotion bid in the Championship.
