Former Chelsea defender, Filipe Luis has admitted that both Thibaut Courtois and Diego Costa both miss Atletico Madrid like he did, according to AS.
The Brazilian left back sealed a move back to Atletico Madrid this summer after failing to settle in London with Chelsea. Despite winning both the Premier League and the League Cup in his debut season, Luis failed to displace the consistent Cesar Azpilicueta at left back. In the report, Luis admits he was always struggling and says he always missed Atletico.

Always, I missed Atletico a lot. I never managed to let go of the club. Perhaps I should have forgotten but I didn’t and I saw matches, talked to my colleagues and sent them messages. I could not let go, these roots I made here were so strong.
Earlier in the summer, there were some worrying reports for Chelsea fans that suggested Diego Costa was unsettled in London. These reports were later denied, however, Filipe Luis has revealed his former team-mates felt the same.
I remember the Supercopa, Diego and I got to the reception of the hotel to watch the game on a computer. We never lost our love for Atleti. More and more we were talking about Atleti. But they played and are completely adapted to life in London.

It is clear to see, that lack of playing time clearly affected Luis and was one of the deciding factors for his exit. The same cannot be said for the pairing of Thibaut Courtois and Diego Costa who have bot started regularly for Chelsea since arriving from La Liga.
