Chelsea are strenuously denying reports suggesting captain John Terry and striker Diego Costa had clashed at the training ground in Cobham, according to The Express.
The Blues slumped to their third defeat in five Premier League games against Everton, going down 3-1 against the Toffees, and are now just one place above the relegation zone heading into this weekend’s clash with Arsenal.
Morale is understandably low at Stamford Bridge, with reports surfacing yesterday that jokes and banter are in short supply at the club after Chelsea made the worst start by any side defending the Premier League title in the last 20 years.
And to make matters worse, talkSPORT pundit Stan Collymore claimed Terry and Costa had been involved in a training ground bust-up, a claim which was strenuously denied by Chelsea, before the former Liverpool striker retracted the statement and apologised, according to the Daily Mail.

Chelsea are now focused on kick-starting their 2015/16 season with a victory over Maccabi Tel Aviv on Wednesday night as they open their UEFA Champions League campaign at Stamford Bridge.
