Chelsea face off against Arsenal at 12:45 on Saturday in what is sure to be a fiery affair. After all, it always is when these two London rivals get together.
The last time the two sides met, Arsenal edged out Chelsea to a stale 1-0 victory at Wembley en route to capturing the FA Community Shield. Since then, the Gunners have steadily picked up points and sit in their customary fourth place spot, while The Blues have done quite the opposite. Chelsea sit just above the relegation zone in the Barclays Premier League.
Chelsea and Arsenal are two of the biggest and best football clubs in both England and the world. I am truly spoiled for choice here! If I could take the best of both squads, here’s who would make my combined Chelsea/Arsenal starting eleven.
Just a quick note, the players in my starting eleven will only be ones who are fit and qualified for selection in Saturday’s match. I’m also going to be going with a 4-2-3-1 formation.
