Chelsea playmaker Cesc Fabregas revealed he is ignoring anyone who doubted him after the Spaniard failed to reproduce his good form in the Premier League this season, according to ESPNFC.
Fabregas is one of a number of Blues players who have endured a rather stuttering start to their title defence this season, with many doubting whether the midfielder can reach the lofty heights he set last season.
However, the 28-year-old told Chelsea’s official website that his confidence in his own ability is high.
He said:
I believe in myself more than anyone. Everyone has their doubts when you are not playing well and you don’t get the results you want but I have been playing too long to worry about stuff that is not important. What is important is my form, getting that good and to be confident.

My confidence is always high, that is not a problem, but sometimes things don’t go well for you for many reasons, but as soon as we realise like we did in this game [against Maccabi Tel Aviv] that we are a fantastic football team, we can compete against top teams.
Fabregas opened his goal-scoring account for the season, as well as reigniting his incredible understanding with Diego Costa in Chelsea’s 4-0 victory over Maccabi Tel Aviv on matchday one of their UEFA Champions League campaign.
And Fabregas is happy with the performance of the team.
Against Maccabi Tel Aviv we put high pressure and high intensity on and we pressed higher up the field, and that is how it is in modern football. It was a good performance, a clean sheet, a lot of goals and good football so I am happy.
