Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic has warned Chelsea’s rivals that Eden Hazard will return to his fine form following his first goal of the season in the 2-0 win over Arsenal on Saturday at Stamford Bridge.
Hazard, who’s had his critics for his performances this season, scored the Blues’ second of the afternoon, despite it taking a heavy block off an Arsenal defender.
The Belgian international has now scored 50 goals for Chelsea, but Serbian midfielder Matic is confident that this goal was his most significant and holds more prospect than any of his other goals.

Talking to Standard Sport, Matic said:
He needs to score goals for his confidence and to be on his top level. He is very important for our team. I am very happy he scored his first goal and I hope it gives him more self-belief.
He needs to know that he is the best player in the Premier League and use his qualities. When he scored it was an important moment in the season for him.
Matic, who has previously left Chelsea for Benfica and then rejoined, believes that the two back-to-back victories over Maccabi Tel-Aviv and Arsenal respectively will be the turning point for Jose Mourinho’s side.
Matic himself has netted for the Blues this season, firing home from distance when Chelsea fell to a 3-1 defeat at Goodison Park in their last away fixture.
