Well, that didn’t go according to plan. Chelsea failed to capitalize on Manchester City’s loss to Tottenham. The Blues’ late game heroics allowed them one point. However, against a team that sits winless at the bottom of the table, Mourinho’s men should have been much better.
While it should have been a more straightforward game for the Blues, they’ll be happy with a point at the end. However, they need to be better if they are to stake a claim in the title race. Dropping points cannot be an option. Especially against Newcastle. Overall, Mourinho and all of Chelsea will be disappointed with the result.
