Chelsea midfielder rubbishes ‘lost dressing room’ rumours

Chelsea midfielder Ramires has rubbished claims that Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has ‘lost the dressing room’ whilst also adding that the squad have ‘full confidence’ in the Portuguese boss.

Mourinho has been under pressure from the media and some supporters following the Blues’ dissappointing performances this season.

After only picking up eight points from eight games, Mourinho is going through the worst form of his career but has been given the backing by Roman Abramovich and Chelsea Football Club.

Following the resignation and sacking of Dick Advocaat at Sunderland and Brendan Rodgers at Liverpool respectively, Mourinho is now the bookies favourite to be the next Premier League manager to face the axe.

Speaking after the frustrating 1-3 loss at home to Southampton last Sunday, the ‘Happy One’ stated that he’d only leave his beloved club if he felt that he lost the trust of his players.

However, Ramires was quick to deny speculation that the changing room wasn’t on their manager’s side.

We’ve not lost a bit of trust in Jose. Everyone trusts him. We think he is the best manager for us.

The 28-year-old Brazilian midfielder went on to add:

Obviously when things don’t go the way that everyone expects a lot of questions are asked. But we still trust him.

We all need to calm down and we can get out of this. As far as the mood is concerned, it is fine.

We are training and working hard. We are doing the best we can to get out of this situation that we have put ourselves in. We have not produced good performances but we are working on it.
