According to the Simon Mullock of the Mirror , Chelsea have identified Atletico Madrid manager, Diego Simeone as a possible replacement for Jose Mourinho, should he fail to turn Chelsea’s season around.
Despite being given a vote of confidence from Roman Abramovich last week, Chelsea are reportedly preparing for the worst, in case Mourinho fails to turn Chelsea’s fortunes.

Diego Simeone is believed to be a possible replacement, who would come at a cost. Should Mourinho be sacked it would cost Abramovich nearly £40m, and it would cost Abramovich around £15m to buy-out Simeone from his contract in Spain according to the report.
The Atletico boss signed a new five-year deal in March but could be tempted to the Premier League. Simeone has endured a spectacular tenure at Atletico, winning La Liga, the Europa League, the UEFA Supercup, beating Chelsea. As well as winning the Copa Del Rey and the Spanish Supercup.

He also managed to take Atletico to the Champions League final, beating Chelsea in the semi-final along the way. Simeone is a most definitely a character and would be a great addition to the Premier League, should he ever make the move.
