Jose Mourinho is reportedly not ready to give up hope on landing Atletico Madrid’s star man, Antoine Griezmann according to Fichajes.
Chelsea boss, Mourinho is thought to be a huge admirer of Griezmann and is hoping that Roman Abramovich can sanction a deal to land the attacker.
Any possible deal is thought to break through the club’s record transfer of £50m that they spent on Fernando Torres, now Griezmann’s team-mate in Spain.

The Frenchman scored an impressive 25 goals in his first season at Atletico after joining from Real Sociedad for £24m. Griezmann has already scored six goals this season in all competitions. Should the 24-year-old make the move to Stamford Bridge in January, he would be cup-tied in the Champions League.
Reports are suggesting that he could be seen as a replacement for Eden Hazard, who is reportedly unhappy at the club, amid speculation linking him with a move to Real Madrid.
