If someone could have told you last season how this season would have started for Chelsea, you would have laughed in their face. If they told you that Willian was going to be one of the few shining lights from the team, you would have probably laughed even more!
However, the Brazilian has been in great form recently and is improving his game week-by-week. He is slowly adding goals to his game making him a very dangerous player.
He has been speaking in the club’s latest edition official magazine about how Chelsea can turn their luck around. The 27-year-old has scored five goals in all competitions already this season.
In my opinion, the way to turn things around is through the daily routine, every day, we come to train and that is where we have to do the work to change things.

Willian is known for his work rate and is clearly hoping for more of the same from his team-mates.
Then, in our performances on matchdays, we have to show the hard work we are doing on a daily basis to win games and turn the situation around.
The Brazilian has enjoyed his luck from dead ball situations this season, he admits it’s something he has always had in his locker.
I’ve been practising free-kicks for a long time, but until this season I haven’t had many opportunities to take them during the game, now I have, and it comes from something I’ve been practising.

Despite only joining in 2013, he has already smashed through 100 appearances for Chelsea.
This is a big club, one that always plays with pressure, and over the 100 games I have played during the past two years I have had to adapt to English football and develop my game, which has felt very good.
