Radamel Falcao hasn’t had as much game time as he may have liked so far since moving to England. He is now being watched by ex-Chelsea manager and current Zenit Saint Petersburg boss, Andre Villas-Boas with a possible half-season loan move on the cards, according to One World Sports.
This isn’t the first time Villas-Boas has tried to obtain the services of Falcao. After a bad loan spell at Manchester United. According to the report, Villas-Boas contacted Falcao and told him that he would get first team football including in Russia, which includes the Champions League. However, Falcao opted away from a move to the Russian giants and decided to have a second bite of the cherry in England.
Since joining Chelsea three months ago, Falcao has only got 200 minutes of Premier League football under his belt. He’s only started one game and has scored one goal.
If Falcao does move to Zenit he will be re-united with his old team mate from Porto, Hulk the two were a real force for the Portuguese club back in the day and that may tempt Falcao to leave. However, there is one problem with all of this. Should Falcao want to move to Zenit, it would mean Chelsea would have to end their costly deal with Monaco.
