Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is likely to be on the touchline for The Blues’ Premier League game with Liverpool on Saturday, despite being charged again by the FA, according to Sky Sports.
Mourinho was charged on Monday “in relation to his language and/or behaviour towards the match officials in or around the dressing room area at halftime” during his side’s 2-1 defeat to fellow London club West Ham United.
However, the Portuguese coach has until 6pm on Thursday evening to respond to the charge, which would then give the FA just one day to get their independent panel together to discuss and make a ruling on the case.
Sky say that a hearing will take place in the week after the Liverpool game, which will allow Mourinho to sit in the dugout for the visit on Jurgen Klopp’s side.

Mourinho is currently sitting on a one-match suspended stadium ban for criticising the match referees after Chelsea’s 3-1 defeat to Southampton. However, the FA panel can not invoke this ban as the touchline incident is a separate issue from criticising the officials to the press.
However, Mourinho has been sent to the stands twice since returning to Chelsea, against Cardiff City in October 2013 and against Aston Villa in March 2014. These incidents can, and most likely will, be taken into account when the panel meets.
There is no maximum punishment set by the FA for these offences but a precedent was set in 2014 when Nottingham Forest manager Billy Davies was given a five-game touchline ban for a similar offence.
