Mourinho rules out Drogba loan in January

Jose Mourinho has ruled out the possibility of signing Didier Drogba on loan in January, according to London 24.

After leaving Chelsea at the end of last season, Drogba has been in and amongst the goals since joining MLS side, Montreal Impact. The Chelsea legend scored against on Thursday night, taking his tally to 12 in his 10 starts in the MLS.

With the striker scoring five goals in his last five games and the MLS season soon scheduled to finish, Mourinho was quizzed at his press conference at the possibility of bringing the striker back to Stamford Bridge on loan during the January transfer window.

Mourinho was quick to rule the possibility out, he said:

No. You want to compare the Premier League with the MLS? Didier will always offer something to a club with a group that loves him and he loves. No doubt about it.

The Ivorian would add stability to what is a shaken dressing room and would definitely help to galvanise the team together through the tough run of form the Premier League champions are going through.
