In a strange display of events on Saturday, Jose Mourinho remained on the Stamford Bridge pitch with his coaching staff after the final whistle.
Pictures were captured which show Mourinho and his staff which included Rui Furia, Silvino Louro, Steve Holland and Christophe Lollichon. According to the Mirror, a lip reader has compiled quotes of exactly what Mourinho was telling his staff.
Mourinho reportedly:
It’s not … and we need to get it, the next one its really … make sure … must NOT lose that one next week.
You know, it’s not good and it’s the sixth (defeat) but the problem was the … he didn’t give … the yellow when he … and I don’t know what will happen.
Everyone was clearly unhappy following another disappointing home performance against Liverpool and felt decisions did not go their way.
Two Phillipe Coutinho goals after a Ramires opener and a third from Christian Benteke sealed all three points for Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool side. It does not get any easier for Mourinho and his team with attention now turning to Dynamo Kyiv at home in the Champion League.
Following their important Champions League game, Chelsea travel to Stoke, where they were knocked out of the Capital One Cup very recently.
