Chelsea host Dynamo Kyiv on Wednesday evening in what could be a make or break match for Jose Mourinho. It’s round four of the Champions League fixtures this week, and all three points are needed if Chelsea are to realistically win the group. The Blues currently sit in third place, but could leapfrog Dynamo and go level on points with Porto, should Maccabi cause an upset.
Kyiv have only played once since the two sides met in Ukraine two weeks ago, after one of their league matches was postponed. They come to Stamford Bridge on the back of a 2-0 victory, whereas Chelsea head into the game following a 3-1 home defeat to Liverpool.

Team News:
On-loan striker Radamel Falcao is ruled out of Wednesday’s clash after picking up a muscular injury that will keep him out for a few weeks. Winger Pedro and right-back Branislav Ivanovic took part in training this week and could be set for a midweek return. Thibaut Courtois remains sidelined with a knee injury.
With limited household names in their squad, Dynamo Kyiv appear to have no major injuries ahead of the match and bring 20 first-team players to London.
Stats:
Chelsea have won their Champions League group in nine of their past 12 campaigns, finishing runners-up in two other years, and being eliminated once (2012-13).Kyiv have never won a match in England, drawing two and losing 10. However have kept 14 clean sheets in 19 games this season.
Writer’s Prediction:
