Chelsea have been told that if they want to sign Serie A star Franco Vazquez from Palermo they will have to make an offer of at least €30 million.
According to Football Italia Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini was initially warning off Serie A rivals AC Milan but also admitted the following;
Did Milan ask for him? Yes, but so have another three or four clubs. He’s a player in great demand, and if he continues to perform as he has been I think this will be his last season in the pink. Milan, Inter and Chelsea want him as soon as the winter transfer window, but no-one will move in January.
The President of Palermo also admitted that there was no chance of seeing Vazquez move in the January transfer window
I can’t sell Vazquez in January, they’d kill me in Palermo, I know this is the player’s last season with us though, we can’t hold him beyond that. The way he’s playing, Vazquez is not worth less than €30m.

The 26-year-old has won two caps for Italy making his debut against England back in march this year at Juventus stadium in Turin. Vazquez mainly plays an attacking midfield role and has scored one goal and assisted four in 11 games this season.
