Saturday saw Chelsea slump to a 7th defeat, a record for a Jose Mourinho-led team and leaves them in 16th place heading into November. Whilst no one foresaw the issues plaguing the Blues back in the summer, the poor performances of a number of key performers has led to Chelsea’s dip in form.
The likes of Fabregas, Matic, Costa and Hazard were key to the Blues title-winning campaign just last year but have been sorely lacking form and confidence in recent times and Roman will surely look to invest in January to ensure his side don’t lose out on an elusive Champions League place.
