Chelsea have once again been linked with a move for Napoli forward Gonzalo Higuain.
This comes after speculation around the future of Spanish striker Diego Costa, who was up to his old tricks yet again this weekend after being accused of both assaulting a steward and saying Ryan Shawcross struggled with body odour.
Costa has yet to hit the heights of last season, when he scored over 20 goals, but neither have Chelsea as a team as the reigning Premier League champions currently sit 16th in the league after 12 games.
None of Chelsea’s strikers have hit it off this season — Costa has been nothing but trouble, Falcao has been poor and Remy’s game time has been very limited. This has left Jose Mourinho wanting more up top, leaving him no option but to look afar to solve his goalscoring woes.
Could prolific Argentine front man Higuain be the answer? Would he suit Chelsea’s style of play and be a good signing?
