Chelsea have scouted Portuguese winger Goncalo Guedes on at least five occasions, as reported by Portuguese publication O Jogo.
Guedes is one of the hottest young properties in European football and has been linked with a number of clubs, including London rivals Arsenal.
The 18-year-old winger came through the ranks at Benfica and made his first team debut in October of last year.

Guedes has made 13 appearances in all competitions for Benfica. In those 13 games, he Portuguese Under 21 international has scored four goals and created a further four for his teammates.
Predominantly playing from the right wing, Guedes has helped guide Benfica to 4th place in the Portuguese Primeira Liga and his performances have attracted the interest of a number of clubs across the continent.
Chelsea do have a history for taking young players, and more often than not, they send them on loan to gain experience.
Guedes is a talented player and it’s almost certain that he’ll want first-team football if he does leave Benfica.
