Multiple English news outlets have reported that while speaking to Marca, Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas starkly stated:
This season is being f****d. The results have not done justice to what we do on the pitch. We are doing things better, but we’ve had no luck. We have to start winning now. When you know things are not going your way, you have to do even more. When things go well, you touch the ball with any part of your body. You are not looking, and it goes in. Unfortunately, the ball does not want to go in at the moment.
The Spaniard vented his frustration towards the way the season has gone so far for Chelsea Football Club. The Blues are sat sixteenth in the Barclays Premier League having accumulated just eleven points from twelve games.
Multiple bust-ups throughout the season spanning from the saga involving former physio Eva Carneiro to Diego Costa’s disciplinary issues to Jose Mourinho receiving several fines and suspensions have not done the club any good either.

Moreover, Fabregas shared how the way the season has gone has negatively impacted his life as a whole.
Football is my life. It is everything to me. My family keep me happy sometimes but when football does not go well, my life is not happy.
The Premier League champions’ awful title defence has even caused the midfielder to lose sleep at night. When asked, he said,
Yes, when things don’t go right. Sometimes when I am at home, in bed, I wonder. You have your own thoughts and the manager will have his thoughts about what is going on and it is all about talking about things and putting this right all together.

Fabregas also looked ahead to what’s next for Chelsea.
In the Champions League, we are still there. The FA Cup has not even started yet so it is all about the League, trying to be as high as we can around Christmas because then it will be a very, very tough time.
Finally, Fabregas reiterated both he and his teammates backing for Mourinho.
I cannot support him even more than I am doing. I am always saying he deserves it, one-hundred percent. We are not playing well but that does not mean we are not in favour of the manager or something like that. We want to win for Chelsea. That is the first thing. We want the club to be at the top and, someone like Mourinho who is having difficult times and the players, then you have to support each other and give your best.
Fabregas and Chelsea will be in action this Saturday, where they will take on Norwich City in England’s capital at 3 p.m. GMT.
