Andreas Christensen has been named Borussia Monchengladbach’s player of the month for October.
The club’s official Twitter account posted this tweet yesterday to confirm the news.

Christensen joined Monchengladbach on loan from Chelsea until the end of the season and has played a big part for the Bundesliga side, since new manager, Andre Schubert took over. The new manager has guided the club to six wins and one draw in his first seven games.

The Danish versatile defender has featured mostly across the back four and has played in the Champions League too, Christensen is clearly benefiting from his spell in Germany.
Showing signs of maturity well beyond his 19 years of age, Christensen has made 12 appearances in all competitions. Should Christensen continue his impressive displays and develop under Schubert, he would definitely be in contention to be in the Chelsea squad next season as the Blues are currently looking short in defence.
