Sky Sports pundit Matt Le Tissier believes that Chelsea would “love” to steal Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur in January in an effort to address their lack of goals thus far in this season’s Premier League.
Speaking on Sky Sports Soccer Saturday, Le Tissier claimed Chelsea’s interest in Kane is certainly present but Tottenham’s desire to sell looks to be the opposite.
I think Chelsea would love him [Kane] in January. Whether or not they’ll get him, I doubt it. With Spurs down the years it has been the case [that they have sold players]. But it might be different with Kane, and he might be different – and decide that he wants to stay for a while. That would be great news for the Tottenham fans.
Kane has continued his terrific form from last season, banishing any scrutiny of his breakout season as a one-off event. Indeed, this season has seen Kane find the net eight times in 13 Premier League appearances and 10 in all competitions.

Chelsea will most likely be searching for attacking reinforcements this coming January transfer. Falcao has looked a far cry from his former self and Loic Remy seems to be unfavoured by José Mourinho to lead the line.
Diego Costa, a revelation when fit in his first season has only scored three times in the Premier League so far, and only four in all competitions.
Costa’s actions on the Chelsa bench at White Heart Lane have also attracted criticism for a public display of dissatisfaction at Mourinho, appearing to throw his bib at his manager. The headlines of ‘bib-gate’ have inevitably followed.
