The Spaniard joined in January, but it wasn’t until the 23rd April before he found the back of the net.
Torres got Chelsea’s second goal in a 3-0 victory. With 84 minutes on the clock, a long boot forward from Petr Cech found Nicolas Anelka. The Frenchman played a ball through to Torres but on the horrible pitch the ball held up in the mud.

The striker quickly turned and managed to slot the ball home which sparked amazing celebrations in the corner of the Stamford Bridge pitch.
Florent Malouda grabbed a third for Chelsea late on in the game, but the match will be remembered for the moment that all Blues fans will never forget.
