It was an eventful night at Highbury as Chelsea faced Arsenal in the quarter-final of the Champions League. After the first leg finished 1-1 at Stamford Bridge, it was all to play for.
Arsenal took the lead through Spanish winger, Jose Antonio Reyes, who fired the Gunners into a lead during first-half stoppage time.

The lead didn’t last long, just six minutes into the second half, Frank Lampard got Chelsea back on track.
One of the most memorable goals in Chelsea’s Champions League history came right in the final few minutes. Wayne Bridge fired past German shot stopper, Jens Lehman after some clever link-up play with Gudjohnsen, sparking brilliant celebrations with the travelling Chelsea fans.
Chelsea progressed into the semi-final of the Champions League but were knocked out by AS Monaco, who went on to lose in the final against Jose Mourinho’s Porto.
