Griezmann categorically denies interest in Chelsea move

Antoine Griezmann has dismissed rumours linking him with Chelsea move as quoted by TalkSport.

The Frenchman has categorically denied moving to Stamford Bridge as Diego Costa’s Chelsea future seems to be ever more uncertain.

Atletico Madrid are reportedly keen to add to their striking force by signing Chelsea’s Costa.

Costa, 28, is thought to have a £28 million release clause in his contract as reported by Daily Express journalist Charles Perrin.

The Chelsea striker has struggled for goals this season, hence why for the last two Premier League matches he has started on the bench.

Amongst all the speculation, the Frenchmen came out to categorically deny any reports linking him with a move to England this winter or this summer.

I do not feel the need to play in Ligue 1, nor in the Premier League or in Serie A. I am in Spain – I’m happy. Life here, football, I like it all

The Blues have been interested in him in the past and it was reported that last summer, Mourinho had the 24-year-old on their radar. It was believed that Roman Abramovich was prepared to pay in excess of £40 million for the attacker. His contract is set to expire in 2020 after signing a new five-year contract extension in August.
