Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has ruled out the possibility of striker Diego Costa being sold and has insisted that the Spaniard is happy with life at Chelsea.
The 27-year-old has failed to follow up a fantastic 2015/15 season with another impressive campaign and has scored just three Premier League goals this season.
His frustrations became apparent during Chelsea’s 0-0 draw at Tottenham when the Spaniard threw his bib at Mourinho after he was named on the substitute bench.

Mourinho, speaking to the BBC ahead of Chelsea’s Premier League tie with Leicester City, said that Costa had apologised for the show of disrespect and said that the Blues wouldn’t be looking to sell their star striker.
He is happy here. He’s another one who has, I think, three more years [on his] contract. I see him staying at Chelsea for three more years, no problem. I see that.
Reports emerged last week linking Costa with a move back to Atletico Madrid after the striker didn’t rule out the possibility of a return, but Mourinho said that the words of the Brazilian-born Spanish international were misconceived.
He didn’t say that [he wants to return]. He said in football you never know. Atletico is a great club. Madrid is a great city. La Liga is a great league. So why can’t a player at 27 years old think that in football it’s possible to be back? I don’t see that as a problem.
