Chelsea captain John Terry has voiced his opinion on the appointment of Guus Hiddink at the club, reassuring fans that he will come in and “pick them up” according to London24.
Hiddink, 69, will be returning to Stamford Bridge for his second spell at the club with the remainder of the season in sight after the controversial sacking of Jose Mourinho.
It is safe to say that the experienced Dutchman has been thrown in at the deep end as he prepares to take on Watford at Vicarage Road in his first game back in charge of the Blues, before facing a struggling Manchester United at Stamford Bridge.

It’s down to him to come in and pick us up. What he will bring in is a hunger within the squad, passion and a lot of fire. He will demand a lot from the players, on the training pitch, and matches.
So I’ve seen it before, he will come in and shake things up in a positive way and we will move forward which is why the club made the decision. He will put his stamp on it.
Chelsea currently sit 15th in the league and will be hoping for a change in fortunes after Hiddink’s appointment. The Dutchman’s first game in charge of Chelsea comes in the shape of Watford on boxing day. A win could lift Chelsea up to 13th in the Premier League table.
