Hazard must rediscover his ego says Hiddink

Guss Hiddink has challenged the Eden Hazard to regain his “ego” for the Blues according to Sky Sports.

The new Chelsea boss has set his priorities towards regaining confidence to the shaky Chelsea squad. The Blues are currently sitting in 15th place 20 points off of first place Leicester.

If you had just seen Hazard this season you wouldn’t believe he was awarded Premier League player of the year last season, but he did.

Hazard has struggled massively so far this season however with the recent departure of Jose Mourinho, this could be Hazard’s chance to regain his real talent and form.

He had a terrific season last year and it’s also normal you can have a setback after that. He was unlucky to be injured recently, which was another setback. We need to get the ego back for him to perform.

Hazard could be back for the Boxing Day game against Watford after sustaining an injury in Chelsea’s recent 2-1 defeat to the high flying foxes. Hazard is one of many that will be looking to regain form, Nemanja Matic,  Cesc Fabregas and Diego Costa will also have to prove themselves after being challenged by Mourinho before his departure.

Things will need to rapidly improve if Chelsea want to finish in a respectable position this campaign.

matchday.
