Patrick Bamford is a loan target for Chelsea’s London neighbours, Queens Park Rangers, according to the Croyden Advertiser.
Bamford returned to Stamford Bridge early after he didn’t get the game time he was looking for at Crystal Palace.
Bamford joined Palace on loan back in July but only started two Capital One Cup games and made just six appearances in the Premier League, all of which came from the bench.
The original plan was for the 22-year-old to stay with Palace for the entire season, but the player himself chose to end the deal early in search of more regular first-team action.
QPR sit in 16th place in the Championship and new manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink will be keen to make additions to his squad as he looks to improve their current situation.
Bamford is a proven goalscorer in the Championship and would be a good pick up for QPR, especially with the Hoops facing the prospect of an early departure for star striker Charlie Austin.
It isn’t just Tomas Kalas on Hasselbaink’s wishlist, according to Get West London, Tomas Kalas is also a reported target for QPR.
Kalas is currently on loan at Middlesbrough after spending time there on loan last season too. The former Chelsea striker is believed to have made initial contact with his former club over the possible loan signing.
