Both Crystal Palace and Newcastle United have made contact with Chelsea and Loic Remy over a possible move during the January transfer window.
Widespread reports have suggested that Chelsea are ready to let the French striker go after a lack of game time since joining the club from QPR last season.
According to the Mirror, Palace have made contact with the club and are readying a bid believed to be in the region of £6m, below Chelsea’s value of the striker. Palace are keen to keep their bid low given Remy’s age.
As well as Palace, Newcastle have also reportedly made their initial contact over a possible six-month loan deal for the striker.
RMC reporter, Mohamed Bouhafsi, tweeted this earlier today.
#NUFC est en discussions avec l’entourage de #Rémy pour un prêt de 6 mois ! Rémy se donne 1 semaine de réflexion ! https://t.co/tzUEbtfyXl

The tweet translates to: “NUFC Is in talks with the # Rémy entourage for a loan of 6 months! Remy gives one week of reflection!”
Remy will be given a week to decide upon on the offer, with the striker not short of suitors in the Premier League.
