Chelsea target £30m rated AC Milan forward
Guus Hiddink is reportedly ready to splash the cash on a new look strike force in January.
According to the Daily Star, Hiddink is heavily reliant on Diego Costa and the Blues’ other two strikers, Loic Remy and Radamel Falcao have both been linked with moves away.
As a result of this, one man on Hiddink’s radar is AC Milan’s Carlos Bacca. The former Sevilla striker is valued at £30m after joining the Italian side in the summer for £22m.
Bacca has been in good form since joining the Serie A side, scoring eight in 18 appearances, more than any Chelsea striker this season. Any possible deal for the Colombian international would cost Chelsea, Bacca has three and a half years remaining on his contract.
The 29-year-old is reportedly keen on playing in the Premier League at some point in his career, with Sky Sports’ Spanish football expert, Guillem Balague saying:
He likes the idea of coming to the Premier League, of course he has been abroad for a few years and would be happy to continue that progression abroad.
