French defender, Kurt Zouma believes the training ground bust-up that broke out between Diego Costa and Oscar can be seen as a positive thing.
According to the Evening Standard, Zouma believes the bust-up shows a desire to win from both players.
The striker and midfielder came to blows during a training session last week after a couple of “hefty” tackles from each player. Which led to both players needing to be separated by their teammates to avoid the situation getting out of hand.
Manager, Guus Hiddink admitted he also “loved” the clash as it showed the levels of motivation and dedication that the players can reach, despite it just being a training session.

Reports of a bust-up were played down by the club and the players who were pictured walking into the dressing room together prior to Sunday’s meeting with Scunthorpe in the FA Cup.
Zouma said:
For us training is like a game. We have to give everything. The way you train is the way you play. So first of all, we have to improve in training. Is that why you get tackles like that? Of course. In training we are working hard every day. Everybody is putting good intensity into their game. We have played well in a few games and are improving much better, so let’s keep the intensity very high.
The French defender added:
If you watched the (Scunthorpe) game you can see how they (Oscar and Costa) are both together. Just like everybody, they are very good friends.
