Chelsea consider loan bids for winger
Chelsea manager Guus Hiddink has revealed the club are still considering whether to loan out winger Christian Atsu, according to ESPN.
The 24-year-old return to the Blues earlier this month after the club decided to cut his loan spell at Bournemouth short.
Hamburg and Levante have been speculated to be making a move for the Ghana international after injuries and form led to the Atsu making only two appearances for Eddie Howe’s side.
The former Porto man has only returned to training in November and Hiddink is believed to be impressed with the winger since his recall, meaning he could be pushing to be named in the squad.
Eddie Howe confirmed Atsu, who had been expected to spend the season at Vitality Stadium, returned after suffering a stress fracture to his shin while on duty with Ghana in September.
Atsu, who has previously been on loan at Everton and Vitesse, now has the chance to join a new club for the second half of the season with clubs from home and abroad circling his situation.
Hiddink will now decide the fate of the winger and whether to implement the man into his squad or loan him out once again.
