Spanish striker, Diego Costa is a doubt for Sunday’s game away to Arsenal after reports from the Daily Mail have confirmed he bruised his tibia against Everton.
Late on in the dramatic 3-3 draw at Stamford Bridge, the striker was forced off through injury after starting the Chelsea comeback.
He was taken to hospital for tests after the medical team suspected a possible leg fracture, fortunately, it wasn’t so serious. Costa suffered bruising to his tibia. The striker is now in a race against time to prove his fitness in time for the London derby.

The timing of the injury is unfortunate for the striker, who has found form under Guus Hiddink, scoring five goals in his last five games.
Costa arrived at Cobham on Sunday morning to undergo yet further tests to help identify the full extent of the injury.
The news is less than ideal for Hiddink, who has only Loic Remy, who has been linked with several moves away from Chelsea this month available.
