Chelsea host West Ham this Saturday, as attentions turn back to the Premier League after both teams were in FA Cup action last weekend.
For Chelsea, climbing the league table and reaching a respectable position is the only way they can salvage the season, after being knocked out of the cup by Everton a week ago.
West Ham, on the other hand, were minutes away from booking their place in the FA Cup semi-final, but a late Manchester United goal at Old Trafford ensured a replay. Unlike Chelsea, the Hammers are still fighting on two fronts.
As it stands before kickoff, West Ham sit four places above the Blues at fifth in the league and are pushing for a European spot, with 49 points. Chelsea are in 10th position with 40 points, but could leapfrog ninth place Stoke with a victory, if the Potters lose this weekend.
Below is our predicted XI for Saturday’s match.
