The current season has seen Chelsea Football Club fall from grace. After the title triumph last season, this year was meant for Chelsea to push on and become a true European powerhouse.
After convincingly winning the title last season under Jose Mourinho, the team looked ready to dominate England once again.
This was also true for the reigning player of the year as well, Eden Hazard. After a wonderful season under Mourinho, Hazard looked ready to finally cement himself as one of the world’s finest.
Nothing has gone to plan for the young Belgian midfielder. His value has surprisingly dropped massively, along with his form, which has seen many fans begin to turn against him. This along with some peculiar antics have seen Chelsea fans left confused.

The same lad, who once lit the Premier League alight, is now lucky to find a spot on the starting XI. Without a doubt, Hazard is world class on his day, but his day has not come around since last season.
This summer is the period of time that will lay down the foundation for the rest of his career. With his club responsibilities ending in a couple of months, and the Euros around the corner, a decision must be made.
Hazard must decide if he is going to stay or if he is going to go. The young Belgian must decide soon before it is too late.
If Hazard decides to leave then the decision is left to the club. Either he is sold to potential suitors, such as Real Madrid or PSG, immediately following the end of the season, or he is held onto.
Hoping for a strong showing at the Euros in hopes of seeing his value rise a bit, Chelsea may then decide to sell. Whichever decision the club makes would be understandable if the player decided he would like to leave.

However, the best decision Hazard can make would be to stay at the club and prove his doubters wrong. Yes, he has made many mistakes and has not really helped his case through peculiar acts. Yes, he is wanted by other clubs and could be sold for a large sum. Yes, he would be a superstar under Zidane or Laurent Blanc.
Regardless, he should stay at Chelsea. If the lad decides he would like to stay, then the transformation has to happen now. He has to get himself back and work harder than ever.
For Hazard to win over the fans again he must work more than he ever has. If he was to become the player he was last season, he would without a doubt go on to many great things.
Form is temporary, class is permanent. The old saying rings true. Hazard has it in him, he just has to show the desire again. Once he does that, he can go down in Chelsea folklore.
The club needs to be rebuilt slowly and must climb back up the European ladder, Hazard can make that process that much faster.

Remember, great players make the right moves. If Hazard makes the right move, the history books await him at Stamford Bridge. If he chooses to leave, he will be remembered at his lowest low.
It is when you are at the bottom that makes you miss the top, but once you hit the bottom, the only way is up.
