Everton striker Romelu Lukaku has apparently told those close to him that he is open to a return to Chelsea in the summer, even though the London-based side will not be competing in the Champions League next season.
A report by Tony Banks of The Express says that the Belgian has told his friends that he would consider a move back to Stamford Bridge as he has “unfinished business” at Chelsea after he was sold permanently for £28million two years ago after loan spells at West Brom and Everton.

The 22-year-old has been in fine form for Everton this season and with speculation mounting about his future, he’s reportedly interested in a move back to Chelsea.
Unfortunately, the Blues did not insist upon putting a buy-back clause in when Lukaku’s deal to take him to Everton went through, meaning Chelsea would have to at least double the £28million they received when they sold him if they do decide they want him back.
