Chelsea’s under-18’s side won the FA Youth Cup last night for an unprecedented third straight year.
They beat Manchester City 3-1, 4-2 on aggregate, to lift the trophy yet again in front of the Stamford Bridge crowd. Chelsea have won the FA Youth Cup four times in the last five seasons, losing to Norwich in the only one they didn’t claim.
Goals from Dujon Sterling, Tammy Abraham, and Fikayo Tomori secured the trophy again for the Blues in a dominant performance against the Sky Blues of Manchester.
Almost all of the players who played for Chelsea yesterday have a good chance of making it at the top-level. The standard of football on show during the game was very impressive for the specific age level.
